Wherein I Delete My Facebook Account

Yes, for those keeping track, this IS the second time I’ve done this.  But the first time, I didn’t have Google + to turn to:).  Facebook had become more and more annoying–all the little changes cluttering up my screen and making it harder and harder to actually see what I wanted to see.  It felt like the 4th incarnation of Word in as many years at work–and with that came the thought of all the time and frustration spent trying to find the same feature that had been inexplicably moved to a different location.  For work, it has to be done.  For Facebook??  Whatever.  I just want to be able to stay in touch with friends without having my kids or their kids suddenly have desperate needs as soon as we get on the phone. And, whaddaya know–Facebook doesn’t have the corner on that!  Simplify, simplify, simplify…Facebook and I were simply at cross-purposes.

So, the deed is done…which no doubt means I’ll be blogging more frequently.

    Maybe I will too. =)

Blogging is good – don’t want to lose track of you! 🙂 I agree wholeheartedly with all you’ve just said, I’m just loathe to give up those connections with long-ago and far-away friends… We need to just make a mass defection to Google+ because I do like the “drive-by” option for giving and gathering information the computer allows throughout the day. 🙂

I know. I fully support defection to Google +! 😀 I’m counting on the friends from FB to go old-school and email me;). Drive-by is a great description–love it. Yes, it’s easier to post a sentence than a blog post, I must say!
